Once upon a time, David Bruton spent a lot of time in front of the class.
“I just wanted to do something that made a difference outside of sports,” said the Broncos safety.
A former substitute teacher, Bruton saw a need. A need that has him back in school.
“We have a huge demographic here in Colorado and a huge epidemic in terms of reading illiteracy, especially around K-3rd grade so I wanted to tackle that,” Bruton told 9NEWS…..
